Dorota Lagida-Ostling was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, where she studied Product Design, Illustration and Ceramics at National Academy of Fine Arts. Over the years she lived in Poland, USA, Canada and Australia, while raising her three sons, working as an illustrator, teaching art and painting. Currently, she lives in Tempe, teaches Intuitive Abstract Painting and Picture Book Illustration at Scottsdale Artists’ School, works at after school art programs for children and writes and illustrates her own books.
