flies

“flies” comes from my thinking about what a roller-coaster ride we’ve all been on – up and down, this way and that – feeling part of the person next to us but also wanting to kind of tear apart. And the horse-flies are the thing no horse can suffer – it makes them go wild – so it’s not clear whether the horse-people in the rubber masks are having fun or screaming.
