“I have been exploring how human spaces operate differently to natural spaces. In the suburbs we wrangle the natural to fit our aesthetic needs, which are a matter of taste. In this work I’ve brought the natural found in the suburban into the urban environment of the gallery. The site-specific window-pane installation presents a view we wouldn’t expect in this location, and asks the audience to think about whether they like what they see.”
