Description

Peter is drawn to reflections on culture, community and the deteriorating effect of global warming and climate change. In each of these works, Peter attempts to state his felt response to the moments experienced and to leave the viewer with an invitation.

In “Brazen” the effect of drought and lack of water on his son’s regenerative farm at Goomburra highlights the native animal invasions attempting to stave off their own demise – Ibis, wedge tailed eagles and foxes – from his dwindling precious food sources and evaporating water.

Prints of originals, which are mixed media on non-archival ageing encyclopedia pages that used to belong to my late mother in law Pearl Lillian Baker of Gayndah, Qld who passed away in 2017 aged 97
